LV 312 is the global benchmark for automotive wire-harness tape. OEMs specify a temperature class for every harness section — we supply all four.
| Temperature class | Range | Typical application zone | Common buyer search terms |
|---|---|---|---|
| T1 (Class A) | −40 °C … +85 °C | Passenger cabin / interior looms | T1 rated harness tape · Class A temperature wire tape |
| T2 (Class B) | −40 °C … +105 °C | Engine-bay periphery, deep dashboard | T2 temperature class tape · 105C rated cloth tape |
| T3 (Class C) | −40 °C … +125 °C | Engine-bay core (abrasion-resistant PET) | T3 high-temp wire tape · Class C abrasion resistant tape |
| T4 (Class D) | −40 °C … +150 °C | Against engine / turbo exhaust (glass-fibre) | T4 rated cloth tape · Class D heat resistant tape |
