Stopping Car Interior Rattles: The NVH / Fleece Tape Guide

Interior buzzes, squeaks and rattles almost always come from a harness or panel rubbing against something. The fix is a soft, high-loft PET fleece tape — sold by function as anti-rattle, noise-dampening or NVH (Noise-Vibration-Harshness) tape.

How it works

The brushed fleece backing absorbs vibration and cushions the contact point, silencing the noise without adding a hard edge. It's the same material OEMs use on instrument-panel and door looms for a quiet, premium cabin.

Fleece vs. PET cloth
