Where this grade sits in LV 312: Flame behaviour is assessed under its own standards and is not part of the LV 312 axes. A grade carrying a flame requirement still needs its temperature and abrasion classes reported separately — one does not substitute for the other.

UL 510 is the standard for specified PVC, polyethylene and rubber insulating tapes and UL 510A the one for component tapes (our file E544340 sits here); UL 94 V-0 is a top flammability rating meaning the material self-extinguishes quickly and doesn't drip flaming particles. Many specs require both.
Halogen-free and low-smoke grades are made for rail, aerospace and premium automotive work. Halogen content is declared against a named test, usually IEC 60754 or EN 50267, and the declaration is issued for the model you order — tell us which test your specification names and we send it. It is a separate requirement from a flame classification.

No. UL 94 V-0 means flame retardant and self-extinguishing — it stops burning within seconds once the flame source is removed and does not drip flaming particles that ignite material below. It is not fireproof and is not rated to survive sustained open flame.
